  • Good at first terrible a few days later

    By fcktindr
No matter how many more people like you they won’t won’t show you after a few days and now with this dumb passport thing all you match with is people up to 8,000 miles away I want nothing do with someone that far
  • Stop the passport madness

    By :$&$&{*{£~€
This Passport thing needs to be optional. It’s rendered tinder nearly useless for local matching. Highly disappointed. Updated per developer response: Leaving the same generic response on the hundreds of people complaining isn’t solving the issue. FIX IT.
  • 1 Star passport feature

    By Strwrs98
Tinder has become full of annoying adds and people from across the world. There is no regulation for adds and I don’t want to match with people 5,000 miles away using the passport feature
  • App won’t work

    By Trip princess👑
The app keeps closing out every time I open it I cannot get into the app at all. I was already logged in and it was working fine then it decided it will not open. It will go to a white blank tinder page then crash and shut out the app and I tried clearing my apps and it will not work.
  • Better have an airplane

Ever since the passport feature became a thing, the only potential matches I see are close to 5,000 miles away. Why add a setting to only show people a certain miles away if you’re just going to force me to see profiles from close to 5,000 miles out? Fix this. Or just simply remove the distance limit. I strongly recommend you let me turn off seeing passport people.
  • So boring

    By saud_55
Great idea as an app, But it’s very bad and boring every thing for money can’t do anything without pay 😕😕
  • I want people near me

    By Justinjdm
Lately it’s been showing me people like 2,000 miles away. Why on earth would I want that? Stupid. Fix it the way it was please
  • Tinder banned

    By DJJ100
I got banned for no reason
  • Inequality

    By TheShtick
After years of using this app and paying for the premiums, my account was arbitrarily banned with no reason given. After contacting customer support to determine if an error was made (as I have followed all the rules drawn out in the community standards) I received a generic response stating there is no appeals process and no reason for the ban has to be given. Do NOT download or pay for any of this app’s services, they’ll just rob you, and there’s no justice and fairness.
  • Literally the worst support

So, I’ve had tinder for a while. I use it sparsely, checking in every few months or so when the mood strikes. My account has only featured safe for work photos, as well as just a simple description of myself. I occasionally chat with people, only innocuous stuff, such as a simple ‘how are you’ and maybe a conversation about our interest, but I admit I’m not very good at carrying conversation so it usually doesn’t go anywhere. This past week, however, I wanted to reactivate my account and give the app another try. I went to the app to register, only to figure out that I had been banned, without any notice. I researched what it means to banned from tinder, and according to their FAQ, I will essentially never be able to use the app again, and there is no way to appeal a ban. According to the FAQ, you receive a ban for violating the TOS or the community guidelines. As I said above, my account was never host to anything that would violate any rules to my knowledge, so I read both in their entirety, just to be sure. Just as I assumed, my account didn’t violate anything laid out by tinder. So, my account was wrongfully banned. According to tinder, there is no appeals process. But, I could figure out WHY I was banned at the very least, right? Wrong! After contacting support and explaining my situation and asking for clarification, I received an email back reiterating that there is no way to appeal bans, bans happen when you violate the rules, and they do this to keep unsafe individuals out of their community. So... a homebody lesbian who’s still in her freshman year of college, who ultimately probably had conversations with about 10 people in the app total, all of which consisted simply of an exchange of greetings and some talk about TV shows and hobbies... makes the community unsafe and is a threat to those around her? This isn’t an isolated event. If you research this issue, there are countless people who have been banned for seemingly no reason, and tinder support simply denies any clarification or.. you know. Support. If you are going to be banning innocent people and barring them from ever using your services again, you at the very least owe them an explanation as to why. (Also, irrelevant to this topic but another reason that I’m actually kind of glad that I can’t go on tinder: it is a terrible place for WLW. Despite having my filters set to search for women only, I was constantly shown men, as well as shown to men, and if I accidentally swiped right (because often times these men make their cover photo a woman to trick you) I was harassed and sent unsolicited sexual messages. How come these guys, who are clearly pretending to be someone they’re not, as well as engaging in harassment, which are both BLATANT violations of community guidelines, are not banned? Makes you think!) Tinder makes itself an unsafe space. I truly wish I could give zero stars.
